Governor Inslee, in his “Stay Home, Stay Healthy” order declared residential construction that is not being funded by the government as “non-essential.” But if it’s safe for government-funded projects to continue, there is no reason private projects can’t either – there shouldn’t be two sets to rules!

As a homebuilder for my entire career, I know that we can get construction moving again in a safe manner that practices social distancing and other safety measures.
